Add WordPress color palettes into the ACF color picker (and how to sync colors with Gutenberg)
With Gutenberg out, everyone’s starting to use the shiny new color settings. That’s great, but if you also are building your own blocks using ACF, the color picker you see there probably doesn’t include your custom colors. This shows you how to put those into sync automatically!
The Limitations of Gutenberg
So, I’m actually really enjoying the editing experience in Gutenberg. It’s really, really well done, especially considering what a mess the process looked from the outside. But it has limits.
I’m bad at blogging
When it comes to my own site, I’m just bad at doing it. I need to, and 2019 is about 10 years too late, but I’m going to be publishing blog entries this year, come hell or high water.
Thoughts on Gutenberg
Gutenberg is likely going to help the WordPress system enormously, but until it does, it’s going to be a burden for everyone.
