Whenever nested calls to the_content happen in Gutenberg, the editor is outputting paragraph tags all over the place.

It's an incredible tool, and one that I frequently include as a dependency in client-specific plugins – and now, with their Gutenberg support starting in 5.8beta, I'll be using it in a new way, building Gutenberg blocks.
